Legend Boats in Barrie, Ontario is seeking an experienced Marine Mechanic for a full-time role. You will diagnose, repair, and service outboard motors (2-stroke & 4-stroke), perform seasonal maintenance, and help assemble and rig boats in a small-team shop.

The position offers $26–$30 per hour based on experience, with comprehensive benefits after six months, ongoing training through Legend and Mercury programs, and opportunities to get out on the water with our Legend program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of marine mechanic experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Mercury Certification.
• Experience working with outboard engines.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service outboard motors (2-stroke & 4-stroke).
• Perform seasonal maintenance, including winterizations.
• Conduct water testing to troubleshoot and optimize performance.
• Assemble and rig boats (pontoons, fishing boats, deck boats, etc.).
• Complete warranty repairs with a high level of quality and care.
• Work collaboratively to meet daily shop and production goals.

We’re looking for an experienced Marine Mechanic to join our team in Barrie, Ontario. If you enjoy diagnosing issues, working with your hands, and being around boats, this is a great opportunity to do what you love in a supportive, team-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and service outboard motors (2-stroke & 4-stroke)

What You Bring

Must-have:
