Mariner's Cove Marina on Healey Lake near MacTier, Ontario, seeks a Yard and Service Support Technician/Marina Support Technician to join our hands-on waterfront team. This role offers outdoor work days and growth in boat and engine service, docking, and storage operations.

You will assist in safety, boat transfers, watercraft rentals, paperwork, and daily yard tasks, collaborating with a friendly team to keep operations smooth and deliver positive customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (G) with clean abstract required.
• Experience with boats or small engine repair a plus.
• Knowledge of marine industry preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Assists with keeping the marina safe and clean.
• Delivers boats to customers.
• Assists customers with renting watercraft.
• Assists with paperwork as needed.
• Plays a general duties role as required.
• Performs basic cleaning and maintenance to keep boats in good shape.
• Prepares boats for relocation by setting up equipment.
• Prepares boats for transportation.
• Moves and positions boats safely to support yard/service work.
• Assists with boat servicing duties per skill level.

Yard and Service Support Technician/Marina Support Technician

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assists with keeping the marina safe and clean.
• Delivering boats to customers.
• Assist customers with renting of watercraft.
• Assist in completing paperwork.
• Assist with other general duties as required.
• Assist with basic cleaning and simple maintenance to keep boats in good shape.
• Prepare boats for relocation by setting up equipment.
• Prepare boats for transportation.
• Move and position boats safely as needed to support daily yard and service work.
• Assisting with boat serving duties (e.g. repair, maintenance, pumps) depending on skill level and experience.

Qualifications:

• Possesses a valid and up to date driver's license (G license and clean driver's abstract required).
• Previous experience working with boat or small engine repair and maintenance is considered an asset.
• Knowledgeable, or eager to learn, about the Marine industry.
• Positive attitude.
• Mercury certification is beneficial but not essential.
