Job summary

Wartsila is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Marine Engines to join our team in Canada. You will perform field service activities on Wärtsila engines, including maintenance, overhauls, troubleshooting, and reporting, at customer sites while upholding safety and QEHS standards.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with marine engine maintenance, installation, and repair.
• Experience with Wärtsilä engines or similar marine systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities on Wärtsilä engines according to work plans.
• Overhauls, repairs, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and apply problem-solving skills.
• Interact professionally with customers during work execution.
• Provide progress updates for assigned work and maintain service reports.
