We are now looking for a Sr. Field Service Engineer – Marine Engines to join our team working for a better future.
The position is permanent, and the preferred location is within Canada, ideally near a major international airport.
As a Sr. Field Service Engineer, you will execute a wide range of field service activities on Wartsila engines, including maintenance, overhauls, troubleshooting, and reporting. You will represent Wartsila at customer sites, ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with safety and technical standards.
You will work in dynamic environments, both onshore and offshore, collaborating with internal teams and interacting directly with customers to support operational excellence.
In this role, you will report to the Team Leader, FS 4-Stroke.
In this role, extensive domestic and international travel is required. While some activities may be planned, the role requires flexibility, with travel expected up to 75% of the time (approximately 7–8 months per year), including onshore and offshore assignments.

Successful candidates must be able to travel to the United States for business purposes.
For applicants that reside in BC/ON, the annual salary wage range for this position ranges from $70,601 to $100,859 CAD, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education, individual skill set, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered and consideration of internal equity.
