Job summary

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Operator to join our food production team.

You will operate, maintain and troubleshoot production machinery in a fast-paced environment, ensuring product quality and minimizing downtime while supporting continuous improvement on the line. The successful candidate will have 1–3 years in manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational training or equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to read manuals and troubleshoot equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-minded.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to stand long periods and lift up to 20 kg; able to work nights/weekends.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S or Kaizen is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated or semi-automated production machinery per SOPs.
• Set up equipment, calibrate, and perform changeovers.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and maintain product specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs; escalate major issues.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Document production logs and downtime records accurately.
• Collaborate with maintenance/engineering to resolve complex issues.
• Adhere to GMP, safety standards, and company policies.
