Job summary

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. seeks a Facilities Technician to operate, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain building systems including HVAC, boilers, chillers, pumps and compressed air.

The role supports preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and coordination with contractors to keep production spaces safe and reliable. You will work primarily onsite at our Greater Toronto Area facilities, with occasional evenings or on-call work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in building systems maintenance (HVAC, boilers, chillers).
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting for HVAC, boiler and chiller systems.
• Experience with pumps, compressed air and related equipment.
• Familiarity with PM scheduling and operational checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot HVAC, boilers, chillers, pumps and compressed air systems.
• Monitor performance and optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance.
• Maintain PM tasks and document activities in CMMS.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and clean work areas.
• Attend to basic building repairs and assist contractors.
