Job summary

MTrec Recruitment represents a manufacturing client seeking a permanent Manufacturing Technician to join their on-site team in Ontario. You’ll assist with small engineering projects and support production and maintenance activities.

Ideal candidates have a manufacturing or engineering background, good communication, IT literacy, and a collaborative approach to projects. This is a Monday–Friday day-shift role with development opportunities and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Proven background in manufacturing or engineering preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service focus.
• IT literacy and comfort using various systems.
• Health and safety conscious with high standards in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage and action all activities required of the on-site service.
• Apply and change lubricants and fluids to planned maintenance schedules.
• Monitor fluids and plant equipment and report using the in-house system.
• Manage waste streams to safe disposal off-site.
• Liaise with customers and assist in meetings.
• Adhere to 5S and Health & Safety procedures.
