Overview

We are seeking a Set-Up Technician to join a growing Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility. You’ll be responsible for setting up and troubleshooting tube bending and forming machines, conducting first-off inspections, and ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Shift: Night Shift (Training on Days for 8–10 Weeks)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust tube bending and forming equipment for production runs
• Conduct first-off inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or process issues
• Work collaboratively with Machine Operators, Maintenance, and Quality teams
• Follow all Health & Safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
• Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tooling changes, and production runs

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of machine set-up experience (automotive or fast-paced manufacturing preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and quality checks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
