Job summary

Beyond Energy Services and Technology Corp. is seeking a Hybrid Shop Technician to support assembly, inspection, repair, and maintenance of RCD/MPD equipment while assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

The role requires 1–2 years in a shop setting, mechanical aptitude, and valid licenses including forklift and driver’s license. The successful candidate will contribute to a safe, organized workspace and participate in continuous improvement efforts, including quality checks

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ shop experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract; First Aid; Forklift.
• Strong communication, documentation discipline, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized work area and facility yard.
• Assist assembly, inspection, repair, and maintenance of RCD/MPD equipment.
• Handle shipping/receiving tasks including crates, loading/unloading, and documentation.
• Support inventory counts and recordkeeping.
• Assist Shop Foreman with daily tasks and quality checks.
• Adhere to ISO/API quality programs and safety policies.

Job Description

As the RCD/MPD Shop Technician Hybrid you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our facility and equipment assembly processes while assisting with Shipping and Receiving.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain the upkeep of the facility and yard.
• Assist in the assembly, inspection, repair, and maintenance of all RCD/MPD related equipment.
• Assist in the shipping and receiving of RCD/MPD equipment; including but not limited to arranging shipments, assembly/preparation of containers/crates for shipping, oversee loading and unloading of goods, verify and document accuracy of goods received according to company standards.
• Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors.
• Assist in monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records through manual and computerized systems.
• Inspect all equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service.
• Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use.
• Assist Shop Foreman with day-to-day tasks as required.
• Implement quality checks and report any non-conforming items for further action.
• Supports and/or participates in the organization’s continuous improvement program- Quality and ISO 9000 (QS as appropriate), API Q1 & API Q2, API 16 RCD.

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a shop environment.
• Mechanically inclined and able to implement mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Required Certifications:
• Valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
• First Aid
• Forklift
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adhere to process and documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of:
• Maintenance processes and procedures
• Mechanical tools and equipment
• Able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines requiring minimal supervision.
• Self-starter with ability to work cohesively as a part of a team.
• Availability for overtime (evenings/weekends) on short notice as dictated by production demand.
• Availability for periodic day/night shift rotation (12 hours) to accommodate product testing schedule.
• Organized, dependable and action orientated.
• Adherence to regulatory and company safety policies.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Personal transportation for travel to and from work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RCD/MPD operations and/or manufacturing.
• Experience with Shipping/Receiving and Inventory Management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Business 365.
• Experience working in an API Certified facility.
