Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
• 7+ years in food safety and quality in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, BRC, and RCA tools.
• Understanding of Canada/US food regulations.
• GFSI, PCQI, HACCP certifications; audits experience.
• Adaptable and resourceful

Responsibilities

• Lead and uphold the Food Safety & Quality Management System.
• Achieve top ratings in external audits (BRC AA, etc.).
• Oversee FSQA team and continuous improvement efforts.
• Coordinate training and CAPA effectiveness.
• Manage audits and regulatory certifications (CFIA, FDA, etc.).
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions respectfully.
• Maintain regulatory records and internal documentation.
