Job summary

Woodward Canada Inc. is seeking a full-time assembler for electronics manufacturing, focusing on automated and manual assembly, SMT processes, and rework.

The role requires reading engineering drawings and following IPC/A-610 standards where applicable, with an emphasis on accuracy and data entry into ERP systems. You will work in a team within the Manufacturing Department, supporting production targets and KPI performance, and you may operate a range of precision equipment while maintaining

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read/interpret drawings, parts lists and related documentation.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic circuit boards to drawings and standards (auto and manual).
• Operate precision production equipment (SMT Pick & Place, AOI, Reflow Oven).
• Perform post-insert hand soldering and rework non-conforming assemblies.
• Apply conformal coating, adhesives, and other chemicals as required.
• Inspect assemblies for conformance to drawings and standards.
• Enter labour and data into ERP and other tracking systems.
• Adhere to procedures, lean principles, and escalate deviations as needed.

This position is a full-time position to help with the transfer of work for site closure in August 2027.The incumbent will work within the Manufacturing Department in the following functional areas as assigned by the Supervisor: Assembly, Quality Control, Soldering, Wiring, Surface Mount Technology, Repair & Overhaul.
