Job summary

Leclerc Ltd is seeking a Management Controller to supervise the accounting analyst team at our Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures plants. You will report to the Director of Operations Accounting and safeguard best practices in cost analysis, variances, and period-end activities.

You will lead month-end/year-end processes, review product costs, analyze investment projects, and drive KPIs across operations. A CPA, 5–8 years in a similar role, and bilingual FR/EN are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting; CPA designation.
• 5–8 years of experience in a similar role with people management.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial close processes.
• Strong computer skills with Office Suite; SAP is an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and coaching abilities; bilingual FR/EN.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and prioritize tasks of the accounting analyst team.
• Support the Director of Operations Accounting on special projects.
• Act as internal reference for operations accounting and management team.
• Participate in month-end and year-end procedures for financial statements.
• Review cost prices for existing and new products and assess impact on margins.
• Analyze costs of investment projects and financial return.
• Explain plant performance with the team on a monthly basis.
• Supervise and participate in budgeting processes; implement KPIs.
• Ensure data integrity across inventory and IT systems.
