Job summary

Leclerc, a family business with 120 years of experience, is seeking a Management Controller to support the plants and oversee operations accounting. You will supervise the accounting analyst team, participate in month-end closes, and analyze costs and project returns to improve margins.

You will work with leadership to ensure data integrity, implement KPIs, and provide insights to the management team. Bilingual French and English required; CPA designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting; CPA designation.
• Five to eight years of experience in a similar role, including people management.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial close processes; SAP experience is a plus.
• Bilingual French and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and prioritize the tasks of the accounting analyst team.
• Support the Director of Operations Accounting on special projects and opportunities.
• Act as the internal reference for operations accounting and a resource for management.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures for financial statements.
• Review cost prices for existing and new products and assess impact on margins.
• Analyze costs of investment projects and their financial returns.
• Explain plant financial performance to management on a monthly basis.
• Lead budgeting processes and implement tools, reports, and KPIs for internal managers.
• Ensure data integrity and inventory accuracy across sites and external warehouses.
• Assist external auditors and support internal controls improvements.
