Job summary

Fluxwerx Illumination Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineering leader to drive NPI from concept to production ramp, optimize line design, and advance continuous improvement across the plant. You will mentor engineers, manage multiple projects, and ensure scalable, cost‑effective manufacturing.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations, with CAD/ERP skills and a hands‑on problem‑solving mindset. A strong background in LED lighting manufacturing is asset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering or related field with 5+ years of equivalent experience.
5+ years progressive manufacturing engineering experience, shopfloor/production background.
Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Professional English proficiency; cross‑functional collaboration.
Knowledge of BOM/ECN management in ERP systems; CAD tooling knowledge.

Responsibilities

Own the manufacturing engineering roadmap aligned with NPI, line design, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and manage Manufacturing Engineers (Electrical and Mechanical).
Escalate and drive root cause analysis for production issues and risks.
Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
Lead planning for NPI, equipment, process, and improvement initiatives.
Provide technical sign‑off on processes, tooling concepts, and automation strategies.
Oversee capacity planning, line design, and factory layout optimization.
Drive cost reduction via BOM consolidation and supplier optimization.
