Algo Communication Products seeks a Manufacturing Engineer, NPI, to support the introduction of new electromechanical products into production at our Metro Vancouver facility. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant manufacturing‑engineering, NPI, industrialization, production‑support, or electromechanical‑product experience.
• Exposure to prototype, pilot, or production builds in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and revision‑controlled documentation.
• Strong knowledge of production metrics such as yield, defects, cycle time, rework, scrap, and capacity.
• Comfortable working hands‑on with production teams, fixtures, and build documentation.
• SolidWorks experience and CAD/documentation proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and build reviews; identify manufacturability, assembly, test, quality, tooling, and process risks.
• Plan and support prototype, engineering, pilot, and early‑production builds.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows.
• Assist with fixtures, jigs, tooling, and test‑station requirements.
• Collect and analyze yield, defects, cycle time, and production issues; drive corrective actions.
• Support ECO/ECR implementation and production‑readiness activities.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and suppliers to track build issues and updates.
• Prepare manufacturing‑release and production‑transfer packages for new products.
