Job summary

NFI Group is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS programs across our manufacturing sites in Canada. The role focuses on hazard control, emergency response, training, audits, and continuous improvement to ensure regulatory compliance and a safer workplace.

You will support ISO 14001/45001 initiatives, manage investigations and return-to-work processes, and collaborate with teams in Canada and the U.S. to standardize practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
• CRSP designation or eligibility preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in an EHS leadership role in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian health and safety regulations.
• Experience in unionized environments.
• Proven track record in audits and hazard assessments.
• Ability to lead training programs across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve EHS programs across manufacturing sites.
• Oversee emergency response, hazard control, and health surveillance.
• Manage workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
• Deliver EHS training and track regulatory compliance.
• Support ISO 14001 and 45001 systems and audits.
• Collaborate with US and Canadian teams for consistency.
• Monitor exposures and drive continuous improvement.
