Dart Canada Inc. is seeking a hands-on EHS Manager to lead safety and environmental programs at a manufacturing facility in Toronto. You will drive a culture of excellence, reduce risk, and partner with Operations, Quality, and HR to achieve measurable results.

The role focuses on building a strong safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the operation, with collaboration across leaders. Competitive CAD salary offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years of EHS experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable safety/environmental regulations.
• Experience with audits, inspections, permitting, reporting, and compliance programs.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively train and influence employees at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilidades

• Lead and strengthen a proactive safety and environmental culture across the facility.
• Manage EHS compliance programs and ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and other regulations.
• Serve as a key contact for regulatory agencies, inspections, permitting, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training to ensure employees understand and follow safety requirements.
• Manage programs related to industrial hygiene, ergonomics, fire prevention, chemical management, waste disposal, and accident prevention.
• Monitor EHS KPIs, identify trends, and implement actions to improve performance and reduce risk.
• Lead or support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Partner with HR on Workers' Compensation and Return-to-Work programs.
• Develop procedures, work instructions, and visual standards that promote safe operations.
• Drive continuous improvement while supporting cost control and overall business objectives.
