Job summary

ManpowerGroup is recruiting 50 Manufacturing Associates for a Midland, Ontario facility. Training will be provided, with hands-on work in precision assembly, quality standards, and use of manufacturing equipment in a team environment.

Successful candidates will contribute to safe, efficient operations, read blueprints, interpret technical documents, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

  • OSSD or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to understand technical information and make sound decisions.
  • Comfortable working with metric measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Learn to handle precision components and assemblies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Use calibrated tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
  • Follow established manufacturing processes and production workflows.
  • Inspect parts and assemblies for quality and visual defects.
  • Complete basic computer and data entry tasks.

  • Follow all workplace safety and quality standards.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative team culture.

Manpower is currently recruiting 50 Manufacturing Associates on behalf of one of our manufacturing clients in Midland, Ontario.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in manufacturing and production. Successful candidates will receive training and gain hands-on experience working with precision assembly processes, technical documentation, quality standards, and manufacturing equipment in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or industrial experience.

Important Eligibility Requirements

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and the Contract Security Program (CSP).

To be considered, candidates must:

  • Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
  • Have resided in Canada for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years.
  • Be eligible to obtain the required security clearance.
  • Meet all requirements of the Controlled Goods Program and Contract Security Program.

Any offer of employment will be conditional upon successful completion of all required security screenings and background checks.
