What is the opportunity? As Manager, T&O New Employee Programs, you will design and deliver high-quality new employee experiences and resources that empower new employees in Technology & Operations (T&O) with the knowledge, tools, and network to succeed in their roles. Reporting to the Senior Manager, T&O New Employee Programs, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to programming that accelerates time-to-productivity and strengthens engagement for new T&O employees.
The experience spans the first 0-12 months from the employee's start date, integrating them into our community and culture, as well as strengthening engagement and belonging.
What will you do?
- Design, execute, and continuously improve the end-to-end new employee experience across multiple workstreams (communications, events, stakeholder support) during the 0-12 month integration period.
- Manage day-to-day program operations including communications ownership (WebEx challenges, Connect site, welcome emails), event coordination, swag distribution, and logistics support.
- Own at least one program offering end-to-end, including testing, implementation, and optimization based on feedback and engagement data.
- Identify experience gaps and friction points; contribute to evidence-based program evolution discussions with leadership and collaborate on continuous improvements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Canadian Hub Community Leads, and the T&O events team to ensure seamless, flawless execution of program initiatives.
- Track, analyze, and report on survey results and engagement metrics; translate insights into actionable recommendations to enhance program effectiveness and new employee outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery, elevate dependencies and risks appropriately, and support leadership in navigating a matrix environment.
- Explore and apply AI technology and best practices to enhance program design and new employee engagement outcomes.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have:
- 2+ years of experience in program management, operations, or employee experience roles.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft clear, engaging messaging for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and comfort learning new tools and platforms quickly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and respond to feedback constructively.
- Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive, welcoming environments for employees.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and support leadership direction.
- Curiosity-driven approach to learning and experimenting with AI technology to enhance program outcomes, with passion for enabling individuals and organizations to thrive.
Nice to Have:
- Experience designing or delivering employee onboarding or new hire programs.
- Familiarity with learning and development (L&D) or talent management initiatives.
- Experience managing events, surveys, or community engagement initiatives.
- Experience creating communications with Poppulo.
- Bilingual capabilities (French and English).
- Experience with employee engagement metrics, data analysis, or reporting dashboards.
