Global Wealth Management is an integral part of Scotiabank. Being part of the Scotia Financial Planning Team (formerly Mobile Advice Team) means contributing to the success of the Mutual Funds Distribution team. You will design and implement strategic initiatives to transform the Scotia Financial Planning (SFP) team, focusing on driving change, fostering innovation, and enhancing operational effectiveness. Accountabilities
  • Execute strategic initiatives as part of SFP Next Gen from ideation to completion.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Strategic Initiatives to understand project scope and success criteria.
  • Assist in executing project roadmaps with clear milestones and deliverables.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
  • Engage with stakeholders across departments to drive alignment and collaboration.
  • Implement change communication and socialization plans.
  • Coordinate training initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance project delivery.
Skills Needed for Success
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
  • Excellent prioritization and time management, capable of managing multiple projects under pressure.
  • Problem-solving, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
