Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Software Development to join the Developer Relations team within our Developer Ecosystem Organization. In this role, you will lead a global Developer Relations team focused on CI/CD, Observability, Cloud Computing support, onboarding to CloudOS (Autodesk’s enterprise Cloud Development Platform), and regionalization efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in building modern CI/CD pipelines and Cloud deployments, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to support and onboard product engineers. Knowledge of industry best practices and trends, comfort in an agile environment, and team leadership skills are essential. Most importantly, you should inspire your team to achieve great results.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage high-performance technical support engineering teams, fostering growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

  2. Design and implement tools and applications for automated support systems.

  3. Participate in technical and architectural discussions, providing guidance and driving decisions.

  4. Communicate and collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and managers.

  5. Remove obstacles proactively and empower your team to release quality software confidently and frequently.

  6. Build an open, trusting, mature operational culture, mentor team members, and provide necessary tools and motivation.

  7. Support internal development teams using our platform through standard methodologies, documentation, and tools.

  8. Manage escalations and act as a bridge between engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 7–12 years of experience managing and growing high-performing engineering teams, with focus on CI/CD pipelines, Cloud deployment, DevOps, and developer advocacy.

  2. Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Database Management, Networking), Kubernetes, and API Management using GCP Apigee.

  3. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

  4. Proven ability to build diverse, high-performing engineering teams and attract top talent.

  5. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence product and technical strategies.

  6. Ability to enforce high technical standards for performance, reliability, and scalability.

  7. Experience working with distributed teams.

  8. Experience in improving engineering practices such as TDD, continuous delivery, Scrum, automation, and maintainable code.

  9. Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of explaining complex technical issues clearly to a broad audience.

  8. Gérer les escalades et faire le lien entre différentes équipes d'ingénierie.

Qualifications minimales

  1. 7 à 12 ans d'expérience dans la gestion d'équipes d'ingénieurs performantes, axée sur CI/CD, Cloud, DevOps, et défense des développeurs.

  2. Expérience avec Infrastructure Cloud (AWS, gestion de bases de données, réseaux), Kubernetes, API avec GCP Apigee.

  3. Diplôme en informatique ou domaine technique connexe.

  4. Capacité à constituer et attirer des équipes diverses et performantes.

  5. Expérience en collaboration interfonctionnelle pour influencer la stratégie produit et technique.

  6. Capacité à imposer des normes techniques élevées.

  7. Expérience avec des équipes distribuées.

  8. Amélioration des pratiques d'ingénierie (TDD, livraison continue, Scrum, automatisation, code testable).

  9. Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles pour expliquer des sujets techniques complexes.
