Position Overview

Manage and lead a team of employees working on track construction projects. Provide leadership accountability for safety, service, and productivity outputs. Railway experience is preferred, but candidates with a solid construction and/or manufacturing management background will also be considered.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure CPKC regulatory compliance for track projects.
  2. Promote and enforce CPKC policies, safety practices, and procedures among direct reports.
  3. Develop and implement work processes with your team to achieve continuous improvement.
  4. Mentor team members to improve efficiency and accountability.
  5. Review planned capital work, confirm material and execution requirements.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Construction and/or manufacturing management experience can substitute railway experience.
  • At least 5 years of progressive supervisory experience in Track Renewal/Maintenance preferred.
  • Knowledge of Red Book, SPC's, GEI.
  • Ability to lead project planning and scheduling.
  • Strong people leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
