Qualifications

  • College and/or University degree – Engineering field considered an asset / Management Degree / Relevant Experience
  • 8+ years general management experience, including some analytics and technology related experience
  • Supervisory experience and Management/Departmental experience
  • Systems analysis and design
  • Solution development with Design Thinking and Agile methodologies
  • Implementation and integration of IT solutions

Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Manager, Process & Business Data is responsible for managing process, data, and system improvement initiatives across the organization. The role involves providing oversight and guidance on the process framework and applying leading practices to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the Manager, Process & Business Data is also responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the organization’s data assets. This includes establishing and maintaining data governance practices and leading master data management initiatives to support business objectives. By fostering a strong culture of data-driven decision-making, the manager will play a pivotal role in enabling the organization to leverage data insights for strategic advantage. A significant aspect of this position is the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that systems are developed, maintained, and sustained to provide competitive advantages through technology.

  • Develop a transformation roadmap for the business as it relates to business data & governance
  • Develop a comprehensive business digital transformation roadmap for the business
  • Develop and implement analytics strategy and manage data governance and compliance
  • Building out data platforms
  • Link business, operations and technology
  • Build data products for easier consumption and scaling
  • Act as an ambassador for digital and AI transformation initiatives
  • Strengthen KPI achievement through data driven analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to standardize the business
  • Collaborate across functions to standardize, develop and implement business process improvement initiatives
  • Provides expertise to process and data engineers to drive strategic led initiatives & solutions
  • Lead, prioritize, and execute on the development of reporting and analytics solutions in support of business objectives and strategies.
  • Collaborate with users and executive leader to understand features and business requirements and propose solutions.
  • Advocate for the adoption of best practices and standards in technology. Tasked with identifying system and technology gaps and suggesting improvements.
