Roles and Responsibilities:
· Ensure right talent is hired and staffing levels are optimally maintained by effectively executing recruitment and selection processes and strategies.
· Manage the full cycle recruiting efforts for all distribution positions including interviews, debrief, offer preparation etc.
· Own and continuously improve the onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and effective integration into the organization.
· Build strong, collaborative relationships with Operations leaders, providing coaching and support to enhance leadership capabilities and team performance.
· Manage employee relations matters; conduct internal investigations with a focus on fair and timely resolution.
· Support and drive the delivery of core HR programs for assigned client group, including Wage Grid Increases, Salary Review, Org Design, Talent Assessments/Calibrations, 360 reviews, Engagement Action planning etc.
· Leverage data and analytics to help identify trends and provide insights that influence business decisions.
· Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation to ensure compliance and consistency.
· Facilitate training sessions as required.
· Collaborate with Disability Management and Safety team to manage work / non-work-related claims and return-to-work processes.
Required Skills:
· 3-5 years HR Generalist/Business Partner experience, preferably in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment.
· Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment and handling employee relations matters.
· Strong understanding of HR disciplines including talent development, employee engagement and performance management.
· Solid knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, particularly those applicable to Alberta and Saskatchewan.
· Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leaders at various levels of the organization.
· Proficient in using MS Excel and MS Outlook; experience with Workday, and time & attendance applications is preferred
· University degree and/or college diploma in Business/Human Resources.
· Excellent communication, organizational, planning and interpersonal skills.
