A Taleo client is seeking an experienced IS/IT Supply Chain Advisor contractor to join a cross-functional initiative between their Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Information Technology (IT) departments. This strategic role requires a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in Supply Chain processes and a strong understanding of Information Systems and technologies that support end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between IT and SCM to ensure successful planning, execution, and optimization of digital supply chain initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Supply Chain Management, with a strong emphasis on IS/IT enablement.
• Partner closely with both IT and SCM stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend supply chain systems and technologies, including ERP, WMS, TMS, demand planning, and analytics tools.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology teams.
• Lead or support the design, testing, and implementation of supply chain applications and digital transformation projects.
• Ensure seamless integration of supply chain systems with existing IT infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across the supply chain.
• Develop documentation, training materials, and user support as needed.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in digital supply chain management.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management with a strong focus on Information Systems.
• Proven track record of working on cross-functional projects involving both business and IT teams.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain domains such as procurement, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, and order fulfillment.
• Hands-on experience with SCM systems such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data management, system integration, and analytics platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in large-scale digital transformation or ERP implementation projects.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
