Are you a seasoned leader who is passionate about training and development?

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Organizational Development (OD) professional to lead our OD team during leave coverage for approximately 18 months. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by guiding key strategic initiatives and supporting the growth and development of our people and culture.

Gateway’s OD and TA team is based out of Burnaby, with the flexibility to work hybrid from anywhere in Alberta, BC, or Ontario. Occasional travel between sites in BC, AB, and ON is required.

This position will manage a small team ensuring the successful delivery of Organizational Development programs and initiatives across the company. With a focus on delivering a positive impact on employee experience, the role works collaboratively with corporate and site leadership to ensure the alignment of employee development and their contributions to the business strategy and performance. For the period of leave, the work of this position will be prioritized to focus on key projects including:

  • Managing the team and service delivery, including organizational development and training.
  • Managing a learning management system migration project.
  • Updating the performance management framework for the 2025/2026 year, including collaborating with the compensation team and key partners to ensure alignment to business strategy.
  • Designing and implementing a new succession management framework.
What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a focus in Organizational Development, Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Adult Education or a related field.
  • 5 years of related experience incorporating supervising or managing a team, design and delivery of related programs.
  • A strong commitment to continuous learning reflected as relevant designations and certifications (change management, project management, HR professional, coaching, etc.).
  • Experience with performance management frameworks and learning technologies and platforms.
