As the Manager, Market Building, you will lead and oversee a portfolio of high-impact projects focused on building sustainable infrastructure for the social finance market in Canada. You’ll drive three major projects: strengthening governance and education for foundations, engaging institutional investors to unlock private capital, and launching a pilot impact fund in the arts and culture sector.

You will report to the CEO of Rally Assets and work closely with internal and external collaborators across the country. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment that values systems thinking, bold leadership, and practical delivery.

In our work as Realize Capital Partners, we’re a fund-of-funds manager for the Government of Canada’s Social Finance Fund, an innovative initiative to grow the social finance market and strengthen social purpose organizations. Part of the mandate includes undertaking a variety of activities to build the social finance market across the country.

  • An Institutional Investor Engagement strategy focused on building relationships with Canada’s largest pension funds and asset owners to catalyze their participation in social finance.
  • A Pilot Arts Fund to explore and launch a proof-of-concept investment fund supporting the arts and culture sector, with particular focus on under-served organizations and communities.

Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key project partners and vendors, including managing multiple third-party consultants.
  • Represent Realize Capital Partners in national conversations.
  • Work with the Communications Team, in particular the Associate, Communications, to market programs and share lessons learned through white papers, webinars, and/or other educational outputs.

Program Operations and Knowledge Building

  • Develop governance toolkits, engagement strategies, and educational resources.
  • Build internal systems to track and codify insights and frameworks.
  • Ensure the projects contribute to long-term system-level change in Canada’s impact investing market.
