Job description

Manager, Land, Regulatory & Environment, Transportation

Join us at Inter Pipeline as a Manager, Land, Regulatory & Environment, Transportation. Located in Calgary, this role reports to the Vice President, Operations, and involves leading a team of professionals in regulatory, land, and environmental management to ensure compliance and support operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee strategies, priorities, budgets, and resource allocation for regulatory, land, environment, Indigenous, and stakeholder relations.
  • Implement and maintain documentation supporting the Transportation Operating Management System (TOMS) and stakeholder engagement processes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development and performance management.
  • Manage responses to regulatory agencies and oversee the preparation of applications, reports, and correspondence.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to environmental and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage programs related to regulatory compliance, environmental liabilities, land management, and Indigenous relations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience with leadership roles and a strong understanding of regulatory environments and government agencies.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as regulatory, land, or environmental studies.
  • Expertise in providing guidance on regulatory, land, environmental, Indigenous, and stakeholder relations from project design through to operations.
