LRO Staffing is seeking a Manager, IT & Cybersecurity Services for a well-known Ottawa‑based organization. You will lead an IT team, oversee service delivery, manage hybrid cloud/on‑prem environments, and shape cybersecurity programs.

Requirements include 4+ years in IT leadership, Microsoft 365 expertise, vendor management, and bilingual English/French. Salary CAD 100,000–130,000 yearly, with government pension, generous PTO and benefits; hybrid work in downtown Ottawa.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT leadership, managing staff, Service Desk operations, and cybersecurity programs.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and cloud/on‑prem environments.
• Experience with MSPs and vendor relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT team and Service Desk to ensure high service availability and staff development.
• Maintain and evolve the cybersecurity program, leveraging NIST/ISO 27001 and zero‑trust approaches.
• Oversee hybrid cloud/on‑prem environments and ITIL Change Management for reliability.
• Guide Enterprise Architecture, SDLC practices, and safe AI implementation.

About The Opportunity

An excellent client of ours, a well-renowned organization headquartered inOttawa, is seeking a Manager, IT & Cybersecurity Services to oversee our dailytechnology operations, cloud and on-premises environments, and cybersecurityprogram. Reporting to the IT Director, you will bridge strategic vision withoperational execution - leading an IT team, managing service delivery, anddriving modern tech initiatives.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Team & Service Operations: Lead the IT team and Service Desk operations to
  ensure high service availability, clear goal‑setting, and continuous staff development
• Cybersecurity & Governance: Maintain and evolve the corporate cybersecurityprogram, leveraging frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, andZero-Trust architecture
• Infrastructure & Change Management: Oversee hybrid cloud/on-prem environmentsand manage ITIL Change Management processes for system reliability
• Strategy & Innovation: Provide guidance on Enterprise Architecture, SDLCpractices and the safe implementation of emerging AI technologies

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Experience: 4+ years in IT leadership, managing technical staff, Service Deskoperations, and cybersecurity programs
• Technical Expertise: Extensive technical background in the entire Microsoft365 stack (SharePoint, Teams, Purview, etc.), network architecture, cloudinfrastructure, SDLC, and modern IT security standards
• Vendor Leadership: Demonstrated track record managing external MSPs andvendor relationships
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
• Soft Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; strongstakeholder management

About the Job

Salary is commensurate of experience, $100,000 to $130,000, and is in additionto a government pension program, a generous PTO and benefits package, etc.

• Location: Hybrid; Downtown Ottawa
• Clearance: Eligibility for Secret Security Clearance required
• Language: Bilingual (English & French) required
