Responsibilities include the following:
- Managing IT Resources, operational planning, including business requirements, project planning, organizing and coordinating the allocation of resources
- Lead all software implementations and deployments as required, including training and enhancements to the ERP system.
- Manage network administration including servers, desktops, and communication systems.
- Develop and test disaster recovery scenario
- Develop, implement and provide proactive monitoring and maintenance on all IT systems including servers, hardware and software
- Provide technical support for all systems and communications, including, but not limited to desktops, laptops, voIP devices, VPN and cellular devices.
- Lead and project manage upgrades and implementation of ERP new and existing modules.
- Lead and project manage our cloud migration
- Leads the development and implementation of the multiyear technology plan, including ways to identify and implement process improvements that drive quality, efficiency and reduce costs
- Advising on potential upgrades: Recommend software improvements, upgrades, and implement new features for optimal performance of company hardware and software
- Project leadership and process management of IT related company initiatives
- Ensure we have advanced security measures where needed
- Adapt to a rapidly changing technology landscape by assessing and implementing continuous improvements to systems and security ensuring compliance with the industry standards
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
- 5 years’ experience in an IT operations role, preferably in project management
- Strong project management and prioritization skills, including leading and coordinating multiple projects, influencing non direct reports and peers, and ensuring on time delivery
- Solid experience in system integrations, upgrades, testing and network operations
- Ability to take ownership, demonstrate a sense of urgency and drive operational success.
- Experience supporting client applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Sonic Wall Firewall.
- Demonstrate experience with IT metrics
- Experience in managing technology vendor relationships
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices both on premise and cloud-based storage
