Guillevin International in Corner Brook is seeking a Manager in Training to lead a busy business centre within a national chain. You'll learn the ropes by overseeing financials, sales, projects and customer service while partnering with top manufacturers in the energy sector.

This program emphasizes entrepreneurship, leadership, and hands-on development; success depends on market insight, team mentoring, and building local supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Solid experience (or knowledge) of management, commercial sales and distribution, as well as the electricity and renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Understand your market and develop an annual and medium-term business plan.
• Manage all internal and external activities of the business centre: financial management, sales, project management and customer service, purchasing, distribution, team management.
• Build solid relationships with local and regional representatives of key suppliers and create business partnerships.
• Promote the business centre and invest in the community, building partnerships to support growth.
• Attract, hire and train new staff and ensure everyone is properly equipped to succeed; motivate the team.
• Provide a safe work environment and enforce health and safety rules and regulations.
• Understand and master the business centre’s operations, including the various systems.
• Encourage personal and professional knowledge and skill development, leading by example.
