Job summary

Guillevin is seeking a Manager in Training for Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador to develop a local business plan and lead the centre within a national network. You’ll learn to manage operations, sales and customer service while growing within a supportive, well‑established company.

You will build relationships with suppliers, recruit and train staff, ensure safety, and drive community engagement as you complete the Learn to Manage Your Centre program in a dynamic energy

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for challenges.
• Customer‑oriented and a great team player.
• Solid experience or knowledge of management, commercial sales and distribution, and the electricity/renewable energy industry.
• Availability to complete the Learn to Manage Your Centre training program.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a good credit rating.

Responsibilities

• Understand your market and develop an annual and medium‑term business plan.
• Manage all internal and external activities of the business centre: financial management, sales, project management and customer service, purchasing, distribution, team management.
• Analyze performance and identify opportunities to increase service level and market share.
• Build solid relationships with local and regional suppliers; create partnerships.
• Promote the centre and invest in the community; stand out as an employer.
• Attract, hire and train staff and maintain a productive working atmosphere.
• Provide a safe work environment and enforce health and safety rules.
• Understand and master the centre’s operations and systems.
• Encourage and promote personal and professional development.
