Suncrest College in Yorkton, SK is hiring a Human Resources Manager to join our team. This full-time, permanent position is based in Yorkton and will commence as soon as possible, with 37.5 hours per week.

Reporting to the Vice President, People & Strategy, the HR Manager provides expertise in interpretation and administration of policies, collective bargaining and labour regulations, recruitment and onboarding, job evaluation, performance management and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce with HRM
• CPHR designation or equivalent
• 5 years of practical HR experience
• Experience with labour relations and policy administration

Suncrest College is currently accepting applications for a Manager, Human Resources to join our team. This full-time, permanent position is based out of Yorkton, SK and will be commencing as soon as possible.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Vice President, People & Strategy, the Human Resources Manager is responsible to provide Human Resource expertise in the areas of interpretation & administration of personnel policies, collective bargaining agreement & personnel & labour regulations, recruitment and selection, onboarding, job evaluation, professional development, performance management & succession planning. The Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the development & implementation of the Colleges personnel policies & procedures.

The Human Resources Manager provides leadership in fostering a climate that is focused on meeting the needs of learners, staff, employers, & communities. The position is responsible for overall supervision & management for key human resource functions including recruitment & selection, labour relations, performance management, & learning & development. The Human Resource Manager will implement & contribute to ongoing initiatives to improve processes and implement best practices that support our strategic direction, operations & organizational priorities.

The Human Resources Manager performs complex & specialized functions requiring considerable independent judgement in decisions that may influence all parts of the College.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Bachelors degree in Business or Commerce, with a major in Human Resource Management & a Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) designation.
• Five years practical, recent, & related experience in a similar Human Resource related position.
• An equivalent combination of education & experience maybe considered.
