Job summary

Suncrest College is seeking a Coordinator for Community & Employment Programs in Saskatchewan, with a 37.5-hour week, temporary full-time arrangement from Aug 17, 2026 to May 14, 2027. The role may be based in Fort Qu'Appelle or Melville, SK as determined for the successful candidate.

The incumbent will lead development and delivery of employability workshops, foster cross-cultural partnerships, and supervise related staff. A bachelor's degree and 1–2 years' relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with knowledge in project management and community-based programming.
  • Experience in educational services and supporting learners, clients and employers is preferred.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience and cross-cultural collaboration is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance and deliver Community and Employment Readiness workshops and programs for external clients.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships to promote Employability programming.
  • Prepare proposals and curriculum, and supervise staff involved in community and employment programs.

Suncrest College welcomes applications for the position of Coordinator, Community & Employment Programs. This is a Full-Time (37.5 hours per week), temporary position from August 17, 2026 to May 14, 2027, in either Fort Qu'Appelle or Melville, SK - to be determined based on the successful applicant.

The Opportunity

This position is primarily responsible for the innovative development, enhancement and delivery of Community and Employment Readiness workshops and programs to external clients. The Coordinator is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of partnerships to promote and develop Employability programming. This position is responsible for proposal writing and curriculum development and the supervision of staff associated with community & employment programs.

Requirements
  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is a relevant bachelors degree from a recognized institution. This education would provide knowledge and specialized skills in project management, community-based programming, as well as analytical and critical thinking, and research skills.
  • The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is two years of recent, related experience in providing educational services and support to learners, clients and employers. The experience demonstrated will include experience in projectdevelopment, facilitation, project management, facilitation, partnership development, adult education and/or other related areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and directing the workflow of staff.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
