Manager, Financial Accounting and Reporting

Adecco is actively seeking a Manager, Financial Accounting and Reporting based in Toronto, ON. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of CAD $140,000 per year and the opportunity to contribute to organizational excellence through strategic financial leadership, innovation, and collaboration.

• Pay Rate: $140k/year.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reporting
• Oversee internal/external audits and compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Implement process improvements and automation initiatives within ERP systems (SAP Business ByDesign) and Salesforce
• Maintain accounting policies, documentation, and training for finance staff
• Manage daily accounting operations including A/P, A/R, GL, HST filings, payroll transactions, and capital assets
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external financial regulations
• Optimize accounts payable and financial disbursement processes
• Provide ad hoc analysis and strategic financial support to CFAO
• Assist with board and committee reporting
• Coach and lead a team of finance professionals
  
  

Requirements:

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Finance or Accounting
• CPA designation is required
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
• Not-for-profit or regulatory experience is considered an asset
• Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce CRM, SAP Business ByDesign, and advanced Excel
• Proactive, analytical thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead systems improvement and team performance
• Expert in GAAP for not-for-profits and internal control best practices
