The Mason Group is partnering with a well-established public company to hire a Manager External Reporting Accountant for an 18-month contract with strong possibility of permanency. This CPA role focuses on external financial reporting under IFRS and requires experience with public company reporting.

Responsibilities include preparing quarterly and annual IFRS financial statements, MD&A, and coordinating disclosures, with involvement in audits and process improvements. Toronto, Ontario.

Formación

• CPA designation required.
• Public company external reporting experience required.
• Strong technical IFRS knowledge.
• Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and MD&A.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in deadline-driven reporting environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with public company reporting experience who enjoys tackling complex IFRS issues and playing a key role in external financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual IFRS financial statements
• Draft MD&A and analyze business performance and key trends
• Research and document complex technical accounting matters
• Prepare accounting memos and support implementation of new IFRS standards
• Coordinate disclosure requirements with internal stakeholders
• Support external audits and quarterly review processes
• Drive process improvements in reporting, controls, and documentation

Qualifications
