Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre (CONC) is looking for an experienced and highly organized Manager, Executive Office and Board Relations to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this role supports the day-to-day operations of the Executive Office and acts as a key liaison between the Executive Director, the Board of Directors, and senior internal and external stakeholders. It is an exciting opportunity for a strategic operations professional with a strong understanding of nonprofit governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate high-level administrative, operational, and strategic functions of the Executive Office
- Track organizational initiatives, deliverables, and performance milestones aligned with strategic and operational plans
- Act as a bridge between the Executive Director and departments, ensuring timely approvals, reporting, and communication
- Manage contracts, funding agreements, governance documents, and executive records within SharePoint and other systems
- Coordinate all aspects of Board and Board committee operations—including meeting preparation, follow-ups, compliance, and onboarding
- Support governance improvement initiatives and Board engagement strategies
- Represent the Executive Office in interactions with funders, government partners, and external agencies
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field
- At least 5–7 years of progressive experience supporting senior leadership and/or Boards, preferably in the nonprofit sector
- Strong knowledge of Board governance and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High proficiency with Office 365, SharePoint, ADP, and digital workflow tools
- Strong judgment, integrity, and ability to manage confidential matters
- Self-directed, highly organized, and adaptable
