Job summary

Compass Group Canada in Sept-Îles, QC, is seeking a Director of Operations (Food Services) to lead client relations, ensure customer satisfaction, oversee staff, plan menus and guarantee compliance with stringent quality assurance, health & safety and environmental programs.

The successful candidate will have post-secondary education and at least 5 years in foodservice or related management within a high-volume retail setting, with experience directing a large team across multiple concepts at

• Post-secondary education with 5+ years of foodservice or related management experience in a high-volume retail food service environment.
• Experience managing a large team of associates and managers is a must.
• Experience working with remote sites is required.
• Proven financial management skills, including ability to control product and labour costs.
• Experience working in high-volume operations with multiple food concepts.
• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in food service.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills in French.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of POS systems is an asset.
