Job summary

TMX Group in Montreal, QC seeks an experienced Marketing Manager to drive demand generation for Datalinx, TMX’s market data and analytics business. You will lead integrated campaigns, paid media, and marketing automation to accelerate pipeline and revenue growth.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Finance to align on audience targeting, value propositions, and measurement. The role is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days in the office weekly, with a strong emphasis on data-driven optimization and

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing with a strong focus on demand generation.
  • At least 3+ years experience in Digital marketing.
  • Experience in B2B financial services, capital markets or fintech is strongly preferred.
  • BA in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving pipeline and measurable outcomes through marketing campaigns.
  • Hands‑on experience managing paid media campaigns (programmatic, search, and paid social).
  • Ability to develop high‑performing, conversion‑oriented messaging and content.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation, CRM systems, and lead management processes, with strong working knowledge of digital channels (SEO/AEO, email, social).
  • Experience working with data, analytics, and performance optimization.
  • Strong project, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Comfort in working individually, within a team and also with senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies aligned to business growth objectives for Datalinx.
  • Own the full campaign lifecycle: planning, targeting, execution, optimization, and reporting.
  • Own marketing contribution to pipeline, including qualified lead generation and performance against defined growth targets.
  • Manage campaign budgets and allocate spend across channels to maximize ROI.

  • Guide development of high-impact, conversion-oriented content (e.g., landing pages and campaign assets) optimized for search engines and AI-powered answer platforms.
  • Act as a trusted marketing partner to stakeholders across Datalinx.

The Manager, Demand Generation is part of the Enterprise Marketing team and is responsible for developing and executing demand generation strategies that drive measurable growth, with a primary focus on supporting Datalinx. The role leads integrated campaigns, paid media, lead generation, marketing automation, and performance optimization. TMX Group is seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Enterprise Marketing team with primary responsibility for Datalinx, TMX’s market data, analytics and technology solutions business. The candidate will develop and execute demand generation and integrated marketing programs that accelerate business growth. This role is performance-driven, with a mandate to drive pipeline, engagement, and revenue impact through targeted marketing programs. You will partner closely with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into measurable marketing outcomes, with a strong focus on digital campaigns, paid media, and lead generation. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, bringing a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive measurable pipeline growth.

This role is Hybrid (2 to 3 days/week at the office) - based in Montreal, Qc.

Key Accountabilities
  • Demand Generation & Campaign Strategy
    • Develop and execute demand generation strategies aligned to business growth objectives for Datalinx
    • Own the full campaign lifecycle: planning, targeting, execution, optimization, and reporting
    • Own marketing contribution to pipeline, including qualified lead generation and performance against defined growth targets
    • Manage campaign budgets and allocate spend across channels to maximize return on investment

  • Digital & Paid Media Execution
    • Lead development and execution of paid media strategies (programmatic, search, and paid social) to support acquisition goals
    • Optimize channel mix, targeting, and creative to maximize ROI and cost-efficiency
    • Leverage marketing automation and CRM tools to manage lead flows, nurturing, and scoring
    • Develop and execute SEO/AEO strategies to improve organic visibility, search performance across key digital channels
    • Continuously test, learn, and scale high-performing tactics
  • Performance Measurement & Optimization
    • Define and track KPIs across campaigns (e.g., MQLs, SQLs, conversion rates, ROI)
    • Deliver actionable insights through regular reporting and post-campaign analysis
    • Identify opportunities to improve funnel performance and marketing effectiveness
Must Have(s)
