Job summary

TD is seeking a Manager, Compliance – Model and Data Governance to ensure AI and data usage within Compliance aligns with enterprise strategy and governance principles. The role involves monitoring the performance of AI models and collaborating with data scientists and data analysts within the Compliance Intelligence Unit.

You will work closely with the broader TD Compliance and Compliance Technology teams to implement the AI and data strategy and contribute to a sustainable surveillance program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in bank/broker-dealer compliance or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of equities, options, futures, FX, rates, currencies and fixed income products.
• Deep understanding of global market conduct and market abuse laws, rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead data, AI integration and governance initiatives in Compliance.
• Ensure data accessibility and quality across Compliance data repositories and governance.
• Operate as a change leader to continuously improve Compliance programs and governance.
• Support a highly effective, embedded surveillance program with IT and risk partners.
• Monitor AI model performance and build BI dashboards for compliance oversight.
