Job summary

Rogers Bank in Calgary is seeking a Manager of Collections to lead a data-driven, risk-aware portfolio strategy within a regulated financial services environment. You will drive recoveries, design analytics-enabled processes, and partner with Credit Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Finance and Operations to deliver scalable results.

You bring 5+ years in collections or credit risk, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and strong proficiency with Excel and analytics tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of progressive experience in collections, credit risk, portfolio management, financial services, or customer operations, including leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of collections strategies and regulatory requirements in a regulated environment.
Proven ability to use analytics and data-driven insights to improve performance and outcomes.
Experience leading transformation, process improvement, automation, or digital initiatives.

Responsibilities

Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend strategies to improve recoveries and customer outcomes.

Develop reporting, dashboards, forecasts, and business cases to support decision-making.

We are seeking a strategic and analytical leader with experience in collections, credit risk, or financial services who can leverage data, technology, and customer insights to drive portfolio performance. What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

Strong knowledge of collections strategies, consumer lending products, and regulatory requirements within a regulated environment.
Proven ability to use analytics and data-driven insights to improve business performance and customer outcomes.
Experience leading transformation, process improvement, automation, or digital initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and analytics tools such as SQL, SAS, Alteryx, Databricks, Power BI, or Tableau.
Experience in banking, financial services, telecommunications, or managing third-party collections agencies is considered an asset.
