Position Overview

Reporting into the Director of Internal Audit responsible for Investment Business Units, you will lead assurance and consulting engagements related to Capital Markets, Infrastructure, Private Equity, and associated risk management and investment operations functions. You will manage end-to-end processes including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and issues closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engagement Management: Plan and manage the completion of engagements, ensuring all are executed, documented, and communicated timely.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain regular communication with internal clients during engagements to keep them informed of progress and outcomes.
  • Action Plans: Develop relevant and constructive action plans addressing root causes of issues and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to the Director and management.
  • Follow-Up: Monitor and follow up on management’s remediation plans promptly.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build effective partnerships across the organization.
  • Risk Awareness: Stay informed on organizational and emerging risks to contribute to audit planning and safeguard organizational interests.
  • Consultation: Provide real-time feedback on business initiatives from a controls perspective, offering recommendations as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to methodology updates and strategic initiatives for team growth.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in external assurance or internal audit.
  • Strong knowledge of Capital Markets, Investments, or related risk management; CFA preferred.

  • Ability to quickly grasp new complex areas; data analytics expertise is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong deck-building abilities.
  • Capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
