We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Accounting and Outsourcing Services (AOS) department. Reporting to a Senior Director or Partner, you will play a strategic role in leading a variety of mandates for a diverse client base, including SMEs, international subsidiaries, and consolidated groups.

This position offers an opportunity to leverage your accounting expertise, leadership, and business acumen in a dynamic environment. You will contribute to the quality of client deliverables, process improvements, and team development, while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise senior and intermediate accountants, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely completion.
• Manage client engagements, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax compliance, and compilation mandates.
• Participate in planning, review work, and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand operational challenges, and suggest process improvements.
• Contribute to internal process optimization and stay informed on emerging technologies (ERP systems, automation, cloud platforms).
• Monitor engagement profitability, support billing, participate in RFPs, and identify business development opportunities.
• Mentor AOS team members, fostering team cohesion and talent development.

Your Profile

• Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).
• 6 to 8 years of relevant public accounting experience, including team supervision.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Caseware, Taxprep, and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements with a structured, client-focused approach.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Fluent in French (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in English required for communication with non-Quebec clients and colleagues.
• Knowledge of Sage and Artifex (assets).
• Experience with consolidations (asset).
