Title: Accounting Manager

Job Details

Aksh Industries is a family-owned business with 28 years of excellence in chemical distribution, primarily serving the Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical industries. We source products from leading global chemical manufacturers and are committed to formulation efficacy and sustainability.

We are seeking a skilled, independent, and detail-oriented professional to handle daily accounting tasks with limited supervision. The role requires a positive problem-solving attitude.

Responsibilities

• Data entry into QuickBooks, including journal entries and intercompany transactions
• Generating and sending invoices to customers
• Following up on accounts receivable and coordinating collections
• Managing purchase orders, maintaining PO tracker, and following up on procurement processes
• Collecting supporting documents for purchases and processing payments
• Reconciling bank accounts and calculating HST
• Filing and safekeeping bank-related documents
• Coordinating with customs brokers, warehouses, and logistics providers
• Managing incoming shipments and outgoing orders with complete documentation
• Filing and paying HST/GST, corporate tax, and WSIB
• Maintaining records of payments, especially related to shipments and cheques
• Monthly inventory valuation

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in finance or commerce
• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and excellent time management skills
• Strong networking, prospecting, and problem-solving skills
• Graduate in commerce, finance, or equivalent

• Salary: $40,000 - $48,000 per year (negotiable based on experience)
