The Assistant Manager will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, and contributing to sales growth. As a HARVEST Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, including training, staffing, labor costs, scheduling, ordering, and active floor management. Reporting directly to the Manager, your role is crucial in maintaining the HARVEST brand standards. Inspiring your team and providing support is of utmost importance. An ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of restaurant supply chains
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Management skills and ability to lead a team

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of customer service.
  • Support recruitment, training, and supervision of team members, including servers, baristas, cooks, and team leads.
  • Create staff schedules according to labor targets and operational needs.
  • Monitor sales, labor reports, and operational metrics to support business goals.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Oversee product and ingredient ordering based on restaurant requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of restaurant equipment and report outstanding issues.
  • Assist in organizing staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Actively manage the floor, ensuring smooth service and staff coordination.
  • Respectfully follow the expectations and standards set out by HARVEST Clean Eats.
  • Support the Manager in leading by example, inspiring, mentoring, and coaching the team to drive performance, engagement, and career development.
  • Monitor financial reports and assist in managing food and labor costs.
  • Work closely with the Manager to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and contribute to solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in catering outreach and ensure catering orders are executed in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
  • Represent HARVEST Clean Eats at local events and initiatives, fostering relationships with the community to promote the brand.
