Job summary

Silverhills is seeking a Kitchen Assistant Lead to join our team. You will work closely with the Kitchen Lead, prep sandwiches and lunch items, test new products, and prepare daily orders in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll operate in a plant-based setting, support inventory, and help maintain high quality and timely service. This role offers opportunities for growth and collaboration with a motivated team.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of cooking experience.
  • Food Safety Certificate required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork.
  • Attention to detail and fast-paced adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Make all food orders as requested in a consistent and timely matter.
  • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare soup and salad for the next day’s orders.
  • Prepare veggies and other items needed for daily orders.
  • Manage inventory of food supplies.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
  • Lead out with other team members to ensure food is produced and delivered to customers in accordance with our policies.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Ensure cleaning and dishwashing duties are completed each shift.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for aKitchen AssistantLeadto join ourteam! OurKitchen Assistantleadwill be working closely with thekitchen Leadand rest of theteam. This includesprepping of sandwiches and lunch items, testingnew and existing products or ingredients, and preparing product for each day.
