Alberta Health Services in Rocky Mountain House is seeking a Maintenance Worker II to perform routine preventative and demand maintenance on exterior and interior building systems under general supervision, ensuring safety and efficient operation of the facility. The role covers drywall, floors, painting, minor plumbing, equipment checks, and disassembly for cleaning.
Required include Grade 10, a valid driver’s licence, Power Engineer 5th Class where boiler work is needed, and ABSA
As a Maintenance Worker II, you may perform routine preventative and demand maintenance activities within the exterior and interior of the building. Under general supervision, you may perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair work on facility architectural, structural and mechanical systems/components to ensure safety and efficient operation of the building systems and equipment. You may perform a wide range of general maintenance duties including maintenance and repair of drywall, floors and painting. Additional duties may include minor plumbing repair; minor repairs on equipment; checks on equipment for pressure and temperature; and disassembly of equipment for cleaning.
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.Possession of a valid driver's licence.Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate required where boiler support is necessary.
Class 5 ABSA Certificate, must live within 20 minutes of the facility.
