Job summary

CPG Executive Search Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a Shelburne, Ontario based food processing operation.

The role focuses on keeping the facility and its equipment running reliably, leading day-to-day maintenance and the preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with packaging lines, conveyors and refrigeration, and the ability to troubleshoot and work with production teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food processing, manufacturing, agriculture or a similar environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, controls and drives.
• Experience in a food, produce or packaging facility is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and diagnose mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues.
• Repair and maintain packaging lines, conveyors, washers, graders, sorters, scales and related processing equipment.
• Develop, lead and continuously improve the site preventative maintenance program and schedules.
• Coordinate and oversee outside contractors and service providers when required.
