Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic license (313A).
• Proficient with mechanical hand/tools and power tools; able to read blueprints.
• Computer skills for entering inventory records; Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, fuel, water treatment, compressed air systems, and distribution systems; maintain plant cleanliness.
• Install mechanical systems and assist Industrial Millwrights.
• Calibrate heating/cooling systems, brine chiller, humidification, air handling equipment; repair hoses and pumps; adjust systems as needed.
• Repair electrical problems, test for leaks, and monitor flow, pressure and temperatures in cold chain.
• Maintain repairs and preventive maintenance; install/repair piping and controls; document tests and adjustments.
• Ensure proper chemical handling and GMP compliance; coordinate with sanitation/production after repairs.
