Job summary

Delta Ophthalmic Laboratory, a division of FYihealth group, is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Delta. You will maintain critical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues to ensure production targets.

The role runs Monday to Friday with occasional overtime and weekends to support production needs. You should have a two-year technical degree or three years' related experience, strong English communication, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or three years related industrial experience.
• Ability to logically think and solve complex electro-mechanical problems.
• Precise written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment checks on critical equipment and return to proper condition.
• Follow Preventive Maintenance documents and note deficiencies for follow-up.
• Use diagrams, manuals and specifications to guide troubleshooting.
• Identify issues with operation and use precision instruments for diagnostics.
• Remove and replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Record parts used in CMMS to aid inventory accuracy.
• Anticipate parts shortages and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Prepare maintenance reports by analyzing data and trends.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and update manuals as changes occur.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PM Work Instructions.
